25 Things To Do In Spring / Early Summer

    Hey everyone!

Since it's getting warmer I thought it would be fun to come up with some ideas for things you can do in spring / early summer.

    1. Have a Picknick on a blanket with some friends. The most obvious one. Grab some food and eat your lunch outside.
    2. Fly a kite. I used to love this when I was a child, although I was never really good at keeping the kite in the air.
    3. Plant seeds and grow stuff. Get your hands dirty and spread some color. Or grow stuff that you can eat! There's nothing better than making breakfast with your own strawberries.
    4. Clean out your wardrobe. Get rid of that winter coat and make space for your summery clothes. Your wardrobe looks empty now? Well, that's the best excuse to go and buy something new ;)
    5. Visit a playground. Cause you'd be lying if you said you didn't like climbing that tree house. Just be nice to the actual kids that may be around.
    6. Pick wildflowers. Cause nobody got money to spend on a real bouquet!
    7. Bird watch. Imagine you'd be up there, the freedom you'd feel! Unless your afraight of heights, then maybe skip this point.
    8. Star gaze. Isn't it comforting to know that some / most of the stars you're seeing don't exist any more?! No? Well, life is short, so live it.
    9. Search for four-leave clovers. You can never have enough luck on your side.
    10. Splash in puddles. Trust me, this sounds crazy, but is actually a whole lot of fun. Except for washing your clothes afterwards.
    11. Dance in the rain. I'm siiiiinging in the rain, I'm siiiiiiinging in the rain... oh, and dancing, too.
    12. Go on a scavenger hunt. You'll be surprised at all the things you have never noticed in your city!
    13. Make a flower crown. Use that wildflowers you picked to make a beautiful flower crown and feel like a princess. Until you find an ant running around in your hair.
    14. Pick strawberries from a field. If you can't grow them yourself, go to a farmer and pick them yourself. Get your money's worth by putting one into the basket, one into your mouth; one in basket, one in mouth...
    15. Go on a bike ride. Explore the city and / or countryside and excercise at the same time. And taking a break someplace nice is the perfect opportunity to have a picknick ;)
    16. Climb a tree. Be a little adventurous and climb that goddamn tree. Maybe not the biggest one, and make sure you're safe, but when you're up there it's the best feeling in the world. Until it's time to get down.
    17. Watch the sun rise. Get up at an ungodly hour and watch the sun rise, or just stay up late until you see the sun rise.
    18. Watch the sun set. Preferebly surrounded by nature, but even in the city center you can see some amazing sunsets.
    19. Go on a hike. If you don't have a bike, put on some comfortable shoes and go on a hike. You don't need to climb a mountain, walking alongside a river or even in a park would do, too.
    20. Make a wish on a dandelion. Another thing I loved doing as a child. And again, you can never have enough luck on your side.
    21. Draw with sidewalk chalk. Bring out your inner Van Gogh and paint something on the sidewalk. But please, keep it family friendly. Unless nobody else can see it, then do whatever.
    22. Skip stones on a lake. If you're like me, you'll fail miserably. But don't give up, maybe someday you'll be able to make it jump at least 5 times.
    23. Dry some flowers. I don't know why, but maybe you can use it as decoration afterwards. If not, it will simply teach you how to be patient.
    24. Blow bubbles. Either make your own soapy liquid or buy some at the dollar store, but blowing bubbles is a whole lot of fun. Especially when you have pets, who will be so confused as to where all these bubbles disappear to.
    25. Swing on a hammock. If you already own one, congrats to you for being awesome. If you don't have one (like me), go someplace where they have some hung up and relax for a while.

This is my bucket list for spring, I intend to check all of these activities off of my list by the end of June. We'll see how that goes... Anyway, let me know in the comments down below if you have any other ideas or if you've done some of the bullet points above! :)

    Until next time!
